| This next section is how the system will add messages to the header of
your emails. We recommend using the same setup as noted above. This will
add the reason that an email was tagged as spam in the header of your
emails. A Header is a hidden area of every email which a server uses to
tell where and to whom the email was sent. You normally will never
see these but if you ever want to find out why an email got tagged as
spam you can log into your spam.drop email account and under Message
Source you will see the servers "notes" on that spam email.
You can choose to add filtering notes to all emails or just the ones the system catches as Spam. We recommend checking the last two boxes on this section as the is no reason to add comments to your valid emails. We use the Discard messages with blank subjects. Even though some people still shoot off emails without putting in a subject a lot of spam is sent this way also and will cause issues with the way your mail is handled. |
