| FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. What FTP means in
simple terms is: the process in which you upload and download files from
the Internet. Almost all site design programs like Dreamweaver, Pagemill,
Adobe GoLive, HomeSite, HotMetal Pro, Netscape Communicator, Coffee Cup
Software use FTP to send files to your server. FrontPage uses a method
called Publishing and when you are using FrontPage you should NEVER FTP
website files, except to your CGI-Bin which can now be done safe and
