Sub-Domains are another way to break your Website down into two different "sites" without having to register two domain names. We use this with our support desk.. Our main domain is http://www.GWDHosting.com and our Help Desk is http://support.gwdhosting.com this helps Webmasters set up email addressed and Databases separately on each "site". Subdomains are now free on all accounts. Sub Domains do not support FrontPage extensions only FTP uploading. The main domain and the Sub Domains share the same space and bandwidth allotment.

Sub-Webs/Directories

Sub-Webs are not the same as Sub-Domains. FrontPage creates folders called Sub-Webs which are more like http://www.yourdomain.com/subweb. We have no restriction on Sub-Webs since these are just folders within your main directory. If you have any questions please let us know.
